Squiggly Bridge Glasgow, originally uploaded by John Farnan Photography. Another take on this brilliant structure in the heart of Glasgow. I never get bored of the possibilities the changing clouds bring to this bridge. Someone was over last night and asked said this image looks more like a graphic than an actual photograph. I showed him the original image which is only a few tweaks of the colours and removal

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Hi one and all Thanks for following my blog over the past year. 2012 Wont see much changes here other than me posting some tutorials and expanding my blog review section. I think this year i will try to work more in black and white again but this may alter as the year goes on. Inspiration for this has come from Alfred Eisenstaedt and Eugene Smith after picking up on

The Cadzow Oaks Some of the Oldest living Oaks in Scotland The shape of each tree is as if sculptured by an artist. I would imagine this is what time and weather does to such ancient trees. Its a pity access to the others is restricted as they would make excellent subjects for photography.   more information  http://www.forestry.gov.uk/forestry/INFD-6U8H57
